Hello Students!

Today we wrapped up our unit on geography and spoke about the different climates of the world.  The five main climates we discussed were:

A - Tropical Climates-high temperatures  and large amounts of rain year round

B - Dry Climates-little rain and a huge daily temperature range. (Hot during day, cold at night)

C – Temperate Climate-warm,dry summers and cool, wet winters.

D - Continental Climates- can be found in the middle regions of large land masses. Total precipitation is not very high and seasonal temperatures vary widely.

E - Cold Climates-permanent ice and tundra are always present. Only about four months of the year have above freezing temperatures.

Your Homework Tonight is to print out the review sheet as well as the link attached which is a longitude/latitude worksheet.  We will be using this for review for our test on TUESDAY!
