Today all classes worked independently on a reading comprehension activity on Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh of Egypt. Your Homework tonight is to read the King Tut worksheet you received in class and answer the following questions:
1. Why is Howard Carter a significant figure in history?
2. Describe what historians discovered in King Tut's tomb
3. Why is there believed to be a curse on King Tut's tomb?

162- Today we spoke about the roles of our own leader and compared them to the roles of an egyptian pharaoh. We took notes on his job and how the people served him

Today we remember Pearl Harbor and all of the men and women who sacrifice their lives defending our freedoms.
Today classes 161,163, and 164 learned about King Menes and the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. We did a brief listening activity and then split into pairs to work on our "Three Kingdoms of Egypt" graphic organizer
HOMEWORK: FINISH THE GRAPHIC ORGANIZER!!
Class 162- Due to your excellent class behavior your class won for the month of November. Because of this, you earned a movie day. We will resume ancient Egypt on Monday..Congratulations!!
