CREATING
A PHYSICAL MAP PROJECT
You have been
given a blank grid and a continent of the world
On your map grid
you will:
1. Title your map. Title should be located at the top center of your grid! Ex: Physical Map of Asia
2. Draw your continent (in its correct shape)
4.
Label your continents coordinates (Longitude and Latitude) YOU CANNOT MAKE THESE
UP!! YOU MUST USE THE ATLAS TO LABEL THE CORRECT COORDINATES
5. You must include AT
LEAST five geographical
features of your continent on your map.
6. You must include a Map Key, Compass Rose,
and scale (USE THE ATLAS TO CREATE AN ACCURATE SCALE)
7. Map must be colorful and NEAT!! They
will be hung on the bulletin board!!
