Hello all, hope you had a good weekend.  Today we spoke about how geographers divide and name the different parts of the earth.  Below are the key notes in case you missed them:

Hemisphere: Half of the Earth

equator: divides the earth into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere

Prime Meridian: divides the earth into the Eastern and Western Hemispheres 

We then did an activity using the Atlas books.  

Just a reminder that your homework on physical and political maps is due tomorrow.  Also, if you failed your quiz you MUST have it signed by your parent/ guardian and brought to me no later than Wed.
